Wholesale Guidelines
Gentry Stitchery Wholesale Guidelines
Thank you for partnering with Gentry Stitchery! We value our wholesale relationships and strive to create a positive and mutually beneficial experience for all retailers. Please review the following guidelines regarding the sale and promotion of our products.
Ordering
- Wholesale accounts must be approved prior to placing orders.
- Payment is due at the time of ordering.
- Preorder products require payment at the time the order is placed unless otherwise agreed upon.
Shipping & Fulfillment
- All in-stock products ship within 5–7 business days of your order being placed.
- Preorder products will ship as soon as they are restocked. If your order contains both in-stock and preorder items, it may be fulfilled in multiple shipments. You will only be charged shipping once, regardless of the number of shipments required to complete your order.
- Preorder lead times are estimates and may vary due to production schedules.
- We will communicate any significant delays as soon as possible.
Product Listings & Sales
- Retailers may only advertise and sell products that have been purchased directly from Gentry Stitchery.
- Product listings must accurately reflect the item being sold and may not be used to collect preorders for products that have not been ordered from Gentry Stitchery.
- Retailers may not list products as available for purchase if they do not currently have inventory on hand or on order from Gentry Stitchery.
Product Images
- Retailers may use official Gentry Stitchery product photos for products they have purchased.
- Images may not be altered, edited, recolored, or modified in any way without written permission.
- Retailers may not remove logos, watermarks, branding elements, or other identifying marks from product images.
- Retailers are welcome to use their own photography once products are received.
Exclusivity
- Certain designs may be offered with geographic or store-specific exclusivity agreements.
- Exclusivity terms, if applicable, will be outlined in writing and are based on opening order quantities and sell-through expectations.
- Exclusivity applies only to the specific terms outlined in the agreement and is not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.
Online Sales
- Retailers are welcome to sell Gentry Stitchery products through their websites and online channels unless otherwise restricted by a specific exclusivity agreement.
- Products may not be listed or sold on third-party marketplaces, including but not limited to Etsy, Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, eBay, or similar platforms, without written permission from Gentry Stitchery.
Pricing
- Retailers are expected to maintain pricing consistent with the current Gentry Stitchery MSRP.
- Excessive discounting, liquidation pricing, or promotional pricing that may negatively impact the brand may result in a review of wholesale privileges.
Intellectual Property
- All artwork, designs, charts, product names, photography, logos, and branding remain the intellectual property of Gentry Stitchery and any collaborating artists.
- Products may not be copied, reproduced, charted, scanned, adapted, reverse engineered, or altered in any form.
- Retailers may not create derivative works or products using Gentry Stitchery artwork, designs, or intellectual property without prior written permission.
Account Standing
Gentry Stitchery reserves the right to suspend or terminate wholesale accounts for:
- Selling products not purchased directly from Gentry Stitchery.
- Misuse of product images or intellectual property.
- Repeated violations of wholesale policies.
- Misrepresentation of inventory availability.
- Unauthorized reproduction or use of Gentry Stitchery designs.
- Conduct that may negatively impact the Gentry Stitchery brand.
